Glycolic Acid Pads 20%
This product complements daily facial programs for acne and sun damaged skin. The acid pads exfoliate the skin to help create a smoother, healthier complexion. Concentration of Glycolic Acid is 20% Glycolic Acid is a mild fruit-derived alpha hydroxy acid that gently sheds dead, dull surface cells so that fresh ones can take their place.

Glycolic Acid Peel Treatment
Glycolic Acid Peel treatments begin with a thin pad soaked in an un-buffered formulation of alpha hydroxyl acid.  The pad is swiped along the face so the alpha hydroxyl acid in the glycolic peel is applied evenly.  The glycolic acid peel remains on the face for a specified time and then the glycolic peel is washed off.

  • The glycolic peel gently sheds dead, dull surface cells and then replaced by fresh cells.  This process is known as exfoliation.
  • The glycolic acid peel is usually performed at home once or twice a week. 
  • Sun protection with SPF 15 or greater is essential and used in conjunction with the glycolic peel. 
  • Sun protection should be applied every three to four hours regardless of planned outside activity.  It is important to remember sunlight passes through glass and exposure accumulates during the course of the entire day.
